Holiday Clubs: Where Healthy Food Meets Science
Ever wondered why a Queen Bee grows larger, stronger, and lives longer than a worker bee, why plum stones were found on Henry VIII’s Mary Rose battleship, how eggs demonstrate Newton’s First Law of Physics, or if it is actually possible to engineer "Green Eggs" just like in the famous Dr. Seuss book?
Our holiday clubs are high-energy, hands-on, and joy-filled—perfect for keeping children engaged, active, and inspired when school is out. We are packed with:
Seasonal Foods
Mini Experiments
Food Quests & Discoveries
Edible Structures
Games & Creative Play
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Learning Nutrition: We use our “Superpower” framework and “Magical Rainbow Tree Score” game to build healthy habits and explore how food fuels our bodies.
Creating Balanced Dishes: We follow the Healthy Eating Plate blueprint to teach children how to assemble nutritionally balanced meals that are fun to make.
Building Meals for Home: We develop skills for children to easily recreate these nutritious snacks, lunchboxes, and family meals at home.
Practicing Mindful Eating: We use gamification to help children slow down, engage their senses, and build a healthy relationship and connection to what we eat.
Scientific Discovery: We investigate the origins and science behind our ingredients through intriguing stories and engaging experiments, encouraging a scientific mindset by testing and observing the world around us.
